RAOUL MORAT

Mann spielt Gitarre vor schwarzem Hintergrund, schwarz-weiß, Nahaufnahme.

Raoul Morat is a Swiss guitarist whose work moves between classical repertoire, chamber music and folk-influenced projects. He studied in Lucerne, graduating with highest distinction, and has since performed widely as a soloist and chamber musician.

At the centre of his artistic work lies the exploration of 18th- and 19th-century repertoire and its idiomatic transfer to the guitar. His playing is characterised by tonal refinement, stylistic sensitivity and a strong sense for musical dialogue between plucked, bowed and vocal sound.

Alongside concert activity, he regularly collaborates with ensembles and singers in diverse formations, ranging from art song and string chamber music to genre-crossing projects.
